Bro. Al Day, Phoenix Lodge No. 13, Ypsilanti, Michigan, presented the Civil War reenactment artillery display at Greenfield Village this past Memorial Day weekend. Dressed in a period Union artillery uniform, notice the square and compass over his left breast. The emblem was worn in this way by many Masons during the conflict.
